I am sure he did say they are worth way less then 1K so did i ( I told it was gift from Fah33m ) .I had the Philips earlier my parents think they are the same and did not notice the difference that these are Denons.
Hahahha .. nah after that incident I told my mom that they cost 15k so be careful with it . I didn't mention that I paid for it , she assumed its one of those review samples like IEMs .
As for the isolation, it is better than Grado SR80/Alessandro MS1. You can hear a lot when there's no music being played, but once the music is turned on, I hardly hear anything.
Being an open can, sound leakage is quite a lot. You would definitely be disturbing people around you. But it's not a problem for people outside the room.
