You will always find a set of snobs who look down upon seconds...in fact..they have a similar opinion on factory-seconds, factory outlets , refurbished and stuff on major sale...i dont believe that its necessary whats on second sale is bad...in fact...i love to hunt for good bargains.
Its more than a money saving technique- its a passion and you know you have it...dont your eyes become big if your friend will say he got that cool new mobile (eg.) for 30% off?

lol.......I want used stuff dude. I can get some stuff frm US for 3/4th of current used price in Forums/Ebay in India.....I cant risk buying DOA items frm US...want something tested and reliable seller....

Plz dont pay heed to such ppl who dont have common sense....
ahahhhaha....how will they knw a processor is used or not? Will the processor name itself "used proccy" for the2nd used.......complete BS.

Subtle difference here, but the factory outlets are actually selling defective stuff. Small flaws here & there that you may or not notice but in the eyes of the manufacturer downgraded.

Whilst if you check properly, a second-item is just a used item and usually not defective in any way. Its cheaper as it has less life left than brand new, all things being equal.

You are really getting what you pay for, unless you get lucky.

Why do you have to mention that you bought something second hand infact you dont have to mention the price in the first place and if bothers you that much then get it off the shelf.

Used stuff is certainly a very good way to get high-end stuff which you won't be able to afford otherwise. If there is some warranty, its like the iceing on the cake:hap2:

The only downside with used stuff is when the previous owner (ab)used the product and there is no warranty to cover damages.

Hence, Don't bothers what others say, Make your own decisions

..or the seller is looking to subsidise his next new purchase ;)

It actually takes more work to do that (sell) and hunt for used deals (buy) than to buy new (incld hunting for price), if you account for time.

..or does it ?

More efficient sites to sell such would defnitely cut that down. ebay was supposed to be one such site but it got nowhere.

Does anyone sell used stuf on ebay in india ?

What do you do with you rold stuff then ? --use it till its dead then dump.

No one wants to buy without warranty.

Well, Look at TE market. its very easy to buy used stuff for cheap. no need to waste time

Easy to buy, but there is a trust element that goes with it. For some reason brand new does away with that.

I have no problems with used stuff as long as i get it from a reliable guy - a good member from TE and the other one

All my deals so far have been very pleasant both ways (touchwood)

Dealing from an inscruplous place or untrusty contacts is quite a risky option and when deals turn sour, it will leave a bad experience which will play on your mind, everytime you want to buy something

I think I am stuck with completely opposite relatives.. they encourage second hand electronic/ computer parts & Cars... They have shady opinion of me when I buy new stuff... :S:S

I have both new & old parts in my computer.... Off late I got most of my computer hardware second hand but then they were offered at good affordable prices.. so why not... :ohyeah:
