dad doesnt like the swift,
the swift engine is better , but a bit more fussy about fuel,but the indica engine is a workhorse , plus any street mechanic will have spares/knowhow since there are a ton of diesel idica taxi's out there
and space was a big factor
Dad put in 3L, and me put in 1.5 as a loan (emi= 5.1k @ 3 years...13.5%
)if i wanted the swift diesel, i'd have to pay 2x from my side
plus the waiting period too... we needed it ASAP before the rainy season, and as you can see from the pix, its already started
the swift diesel waiting period is :S

hmm we own a wagonR duo...You are right, the car pants on inclines...also feels like lot of loose bolts inside sometimes...
But its factory fitted wth gas and I prefer that over any non CRDI stupid diesel :bleh:
Also I dont like the vibrations on the indica...
but yes...sturdier than the wagonR...
