Hi folks luck and god saved my life today. I had to leave to Bangalore from chennai on 26th night by Parveen Travels located at Koyambedu which is about 16 Kms from where I live. I stay in Thiruvanmiyur (Chennai peeps would know about this). I had to take to take a printout of the ticket as I booked it thru cleartrip.
I was lazy to go out and take the print on 26th morning , slept around 3PM in the afternoon thinking that will wake up by 8 PM and leave to the bus stand by 9PM ,but overslept and got up by 9PM then was like I will take the print on the way to the bus stand, left my place around 9.45PM boarded a rick and requested the rick to stop at all internet shops but ran out of luck and all of them were closed now I remembered a place which would be open till 11PM which is at the Thiruvanmiyur Signal( it's a high traffic area),requested the rick driver to stop at this place he was like "Sir, there is lot of traffic here please be careful†,I was like I can take of my self ( was bit rude).
I had to cross the road and go the other side and take the print, there was a divider which is huge ( I mean its not at least of the same size in Bangalore) .I was in a hurry and had to go fast take the print and come back to the out as i was left with 45 Mins of time to board the bus had to travel another 14 Kms admist of peak traffic. I crossed the road climed the divider and booom my leg got twisted when i was about to step down from the divider and lost balance and fell off on the road. Saw a bus coming in the opposite direction , I was trying my level best to get up but couldn’t as my body was not allowing me to do( I am fat ).
I was still trying to get up as the bus was approaching me at high speed then i do not know what happen why i closed my eyes for 2 seconds (I could hear the screeching of the bus brakes and the bus skidding off) .Opened my eyes I was under the bus and the front tire of the bus was 2 inches away from my neck. I was in shock for some time people around me were shouting get up getup , then after 2 mins got up was in shock , was not able to walk but then I was like I need to board the bus went to the internet center took the printout ( did all my self).
I did not realize that I missed my death by 2 inches, came back to the rick sat down then remembered what happened to me, I was trembling to the core my whole body was shivering after I realized how close i was to death today, called my pop immediately he was like what happened I couldn’t speak at all,i was crying like crazy. Till date i never went thru such thing in my life, i feel that god gave me another life to survive and be good in life, I used to curse my self for what was happening to me till date , but from today i will not curse my life I am the luckiest person in the entire world. I still can’t imagine how close I was to death. I was crying when i was writing the above just couldn’t control my emotions.
What have I learn today??
1) Keep things organized.
2) Be very careful while crossing roads.
3) Do not be lazy in life

can understand , how u must be feeling.....also take it up as a challenge for the days ahead , take care of ur health.....jog / gym and get fit as well....dont take this post or the experience in a -ve way...
