if you want to go for max OC, i would recommend the Gskill 2-2-2-5 PC3200 which is also rated 2.5-3-3-6 PC4400 ....but needs a bump on voltage..nd do 300mhz (nd r 20$'s cheaper :cool2: )

What u didnt mention though is that those GSkills are too cheap for my taste.. i mean who wud wanna buy memory for a measely $285.. :bleh:

whereas ther's also PQI turbo which also overclocks really well nd is based on TCCD nd know to b better than both of the above, but a bit of luck factor on these (brainpower pcb + alot cheaper)

cud u link me to the ones u r referring to? are those the same ones on newegg? neways, i think i'll have to settle with TCCDs as they wud be ideal for my mobo.

Its still May but its 9-11 nevertheless..

the PQi turbo does ddr550 (like the ocz ur thinkin of buying ) but these do it at stock
but at 3-4-4-8
u will hav to bring the OCZ's one down to, to bump up the Mhz....tht these do at stock , so more chance of these goin up thn 550Mhz...plus a lot cheaper.

nd these r samsung TCCD's too :hap2:

I really do.. too many choices too many decisions.. naa.. its not about u guys nor is it about anyone i know.. its about me. my worst enemy.. me.. thats right i hate myself.. this shud've gone in my blog, but since i dont blog i am ranting here..

....House wife whine.........
Wheres my mousepad biatch?

Turns out i can spend a max of $250 now.. :(.. my friend had 'allocated' $450 for me (so that he doesnt have any problems with the customs) and since he's also getting my replaced 9800 Pro back, i gotta consider that too.. space wise he doesnt have a problem, but if the customs catch him n make him pay, i'll have to bear my share too. It seems customs duty cud be as high as 30%.. cud anyone confirm that here? I wudnt wanna end up paying $150 just as customs duty..

i really hate this now.. :(

ask your friend to bring his grandma along.. from personal experience i noticed that customs at airport dont hassle ppl with their grandmas along

actually i thought the airport customs are pretty lax on ppl coming from the US.. its only when ppl from singapore, msia, dubai come that they start circling around like those birds in your sig

and i also thought that you could bring in 30k worth of goods via green channel

i dont think its too much of a problem, just ask your fried to open the seals of the box and show them as of personal use, and as bottle said, ppl comming fom US are not bugged that much, unless hes got like a ton of luggage ;)
