He is probably talking about one of those Scalable Graphics/Visualization stations from HP with 4 slave nodes powered by a Quad Xeon and 12GB RAM each controlled by a master node.

Heheh. You guys are antsy. I've yet to go into office. I live in another timezone you know. I'll give you screenshots soon.

You need to suggest Linux based benchmarks, no Windows on this machine.

Of course I'll let you down a bit by saying this is a shared machine (6 people have access to it, but only 1 or 2 will be using it at any time. That is because we also have an 8 core (2 x quad core Xeon), and people have stuff setup on that...)

@Chaos: These are Intel cores.... I'll have some details for you soon. Perhaps a few readouts from /proc will satisfy your souls.

BTW, I haven't told you guys of my 32 thread server yet have I? A gift from Sun....heheh..... that is being setup at the moment...

and dont u know that it even needs 8 ultras to play at that reso

even 3 are not enuf for the 2560 one
