I have a Videocon V1441.It fell off from my shirt pocket into a clear pond.

I immediately remove the battery and cover and have put into a sackful of rice.I hope I wont lose my phone forever.How many hours before I can remove it from the sack so that it is completely dry and turn it on ?

But in sack where your phone has to disassembled.

Yes its disassembled.battery separate,cover separate.I dried them off.put the remaining part deep inside rice sack.but exactly how many days,bro ?
