I have heard pretty much everyone refer them by that word, especially in BaNGALORE.People pretty much from most states refer them that way.Matter of fact, I used to do it too.But then it dawned on me that they are after all people of our own country.Just cuz they have mongolian heritage AND LOOK DIFFERENT doesn't mean we be rude to them.This shunning has resulted in reciprocation too. North-easterners are pretty chilled out ppl.Not violent in any way and dont go looking for trouble.
Yup ritely said, while workin as a recruiter I came across many north east ppl & man it was alwayys good 2 talk 2thm theer was smthn abt thm tht it felt gud to talk 2 thm. i met few & they still call me even though Im not a recruiter nymore.
