Hi,
I am planning to upgrade my ICE for my 4 year old i10 as below:

1. replace my Sony HU with pioneer 4490 BT
2. Retain my rear Infinity 4x3, 3way speakers
3. Retain my front jbl components.

4, Need advice on amp and subwoofer.

I would like to know if I go with "jbl gt-basspro12", do I still need another amp to power the speakers or this would be enough.

or should I get a 4 chl amp and a subwoofer.

Which model of Amp and Subwoofer is good.

Any idea where I can get a good service in Bangalore.

would suggest you consider the JVC KD X50BT
the basspro12 doesnt need an amp, but considering its price (~14K) I think a 4ch amp + boxed sub should be the way to go.
check team bhp for reviews on good installers in blore:)
 
^^Being a user of the JVC KD X30, I can vouch for X50BT's sound quality. Crisp n clear. Add to that it's excellent features and VFM.
 
When I bought the X30, the local prices were as follows:

KD-X30: 4000
KD-X40: 5500
KD-X50BT: 6500

Another point regarding HU's output: This one is easily able to drive my Sony 100w rms rear oval's whereas the previous Sony head unit was not even crossing 40percent of the speaker's maximum capability. So I guess the built-in amp is pretty slick.
