CPU/Mobo i3 i5 suggestion

Was planning to get a i3
Any ideas whether i3 4170 is launched in India??
If yes where can I get one??

Also open to suggestions for other i3/i5 variant

keep and eye out for i3 43xx models. they cost around 8-9k and are on par with an i5 in gaming. rare online but you never know.

Just to give you a perspective, in my second rig, I had a 4130 which I recently chaged to a Xeon 1245v3.

The difference in performance between the two is dramatic when playing Witcher 3 especially in the CPU limited Novigrad area. The min frame rates went up from 30s to around 50.

It is absolutely worth buying a quad over an i3.

p.s. i don't literally mean i3 43xx - the xx is meant a s a wildcard (such as 4330... 4370)
