HI brothers...... I am Planning to buy this for gaming and HTPC. can I play dolby sound through it.
does it needs any sound card.?

Not sure if I've understood your query correctly, but if your motherboard has decent onboard sound, that should be enough. There's no optical input on that iball, only analog RCA inputs. So any dolby (digital?) decoding will need to be done by your PC.

No, just get a suitable media player/decoder that can decode dolby digital. Of course your onboard sound needs to have 5.1 channel analog outputs.
