Guys, recently purchased the above 2.1 speaker. The sound is good but, the problem is if i set the left volume control or the right volume in windows full, i should not hear sound from the other speaker, right ?. But even if i move the balance slider to the extreme left of extreme right, i can hear some sound from the other speaker. Is this normal ?

I tried it with my laptop, my mobile, desktop and i can hear the sound in the other speaker. Is this anything which i have to worry about or these el-cheapo speakers behaviour is usual. For instance my creative 2.0 (bought some years back) doesnt have this issue...

Please help. Should i get the unit replaced ??

is it a faint sound ? (some leakage is expected)
but if the volume is more, especially the bass, then there is something wrong with your cable
 
what do you mean by faint sound ?. Yes there is some leakage, but i dont think it has anything to do with the RCA cable. Because i tested with another one and the same result. Is this a normal behaviour for most 2.1 speakers...

The sound from the other speaker is audible if i bring the speaker near to my ears. Even in my creative headphones ep630 when connected to my Nokia N8 i checked that there is some minor sound leakage from the other channel. Same in my creative 2.0 i can hear some sound from the channel which is fully muted. Is this normal

But i checked the same creative 2.0 with my laptop onboard sound and cant hear a bit of sound on the muted channel. Strange, isnt it ?..

Ok, is this a normal behaviour ?. When contacted IBALL service center he told that since the sound comes from a woofer unlike a 2.0 speaker such leakage is normal...

What do you think mate ??
 
You cant expect a full leakage-proof sound from budget grade speakers, the sound leaks due to the poor circuitry inside which is not a fault
 
oh Ok. thanx.. Now i got it. Anyway i am satisfied with its performance. Its VFM product. Highly recommend it...
