there are no hidden or handling charges. but the offer is available

only where it's mentioned. sometimes the listing with the EMI option

is not the cheapest available.

but icici ebsite says thereis about 4pc charges for each transaction

am really confused
you can change any transaction on ICICI Credit Card(or maybe even with other cc companies) to EMI's if you ask customer care within a certain time period, that is what attracts additional charges.

But not here

If you buy anything thru ebay on EMI using ur ICICI card, there is nothing additional charged to the buyer.. I have bought things on EMI from ebay using my ICICI CC, haven't paid anything extra.

Even this info is mentioned on ebay front page itself

thanks a lot guys
its always best to ask directly to end users rather asking a customer service who will mostly push their products

i bought an item recently from ebay

the seller did not convert to emi - apparently even though the seller advertises 3 emi's , this has to be done manually

in my case i did not bother with the seller again since the amount was 1500 change .

but i feel like leaving a negative feedback for the seller however its too late

:P

How does this scheme really work? I have asked the same question in some other Topic or Forum as well, but then no one had a first had experience there..

I do not think there is anything that the seller can do. YOU have to select the EMI option where you confirm the billing address and the select the mode of payment as PaisaPay and also select whether you want to go for the 3 EMIs or 6 EMIs and everything else follows. Very simple really.

@harish_21_10: As explained above you just have to select the EMI option and the # of EMIs you want and in the following page confirm your payment with an ICICI CC after applying the coupons, if any, and thats it. The entire product amount is blocked on your CC and the first EMI is reflected in the following's month's billing cycle. Any other doubts?

Yes, of course. Eg., you buy an item worth 30k in 3 installments, the whole 30K will be blocked at the time of purchase, then after after the first EMI the amount blocked will be 20, then 10, and then NIL after the last EMI.

I was planning to use my friends card, but looks like it will a little inconvenient for him..anyways, thanks for the info mate...
