Icons dont display properly in windows 7??

All my icons in windows 7 dont display any image at all .I tried resetting the iconcache by deleting the IconCache.db file still no use.None of my word file display icons,skype,windows live messenger,itunes,adobe reader has the same issue.Here is a screenshot of my desktop with word file icon not displayed at all.Its only a problem with Icons not associations.

while on desktop try Ctrl+ Mouse wheel movement... which will enlarge and contract size of icons. if it still doesnt work, its a weird issue then

I used to face the same issue in Windows 7 RC.... But in the RTM i haven't faced it yet .....Here is a solution that used to work for me.... Open the task manager and look for dllhost.exe and end the process... It usually takes 2 or 3 tries before it dissappears form the task manager...... After that the icons will appear....

Oops i forgot to read the thread before i installed the RTM.I was very much irritated to see icons in such a manner.Any how thanks for the reply dude .Will give it a try if any issues occurs in RTM
