ICS 4.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy S2 now out in India
After a pretty long wait for Indians owning the Galaxy S2, Samsung has finally started rolling out the new Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) update for the phone. Samsung had previously stated that the phone would receive the new ICS upgrade last December and started rolling out the 4.0 upgrade for it's customers in Europe earlier this year in March, 2012.
Samsung have now also started shipping the Galaxy S2's with pre installed ICS and similarly the Samsung Galaxy Note also received the ICS update this past week in India.
The update is available OTA (Over-the-air) and also you can update the S2 using the Samsung Kies software, otherwise you can also go to a Samsung Service Center to get your phone upgraded.
