eventhough it is bit late to pst this now,i cam across this fake idler program which allows you to idle without starting TF2 game.there is no alt tabbing involved here,all you have to do this run this program after your connected with steam and if you get any items you will be notified IT IS NOT A HACK AND WILL NOT GET YOU BANNED.
But Do keep in mind that when you have started the program refrain from playing tf2 because you might get banned. close the program and then start tf2 .
