IE Problem

Hi guys....
Well I tried everything for this trouble but nothing happened

What My friend did was, he updated his Norton to Norton2005....That was yesterday and before that the IE was working Properly. and we did not install anything on it for atleast 4 months

Now, After the Upgrade, whenever we open IE it says "Downloading from MSN" and closes down.
now what is it Downloading from MSN i dunno....

Is there anything we can do before Installing IE again?
 
It is possible you have either a spyware or a popup killer. Hold down the control key and open IE to see if it opens. If this does not work, run "Spybot Search and Destroy" and/or Adaware SE. You can download both from the net for free from another computer and then install it on your machine if IE won't let you do anything here.

try going to your command prompt(start->run->cmd) and typing as follows :
net stop "messenger"

....this will stop the messenger service,check out if you notice any changes after that..
 
Lol......Everything was Disabled, But still Thadamned thing said, Downloading from MSN,.....So me and My Friend decided to Uninstall IE.......Now No IE, No Problem.
