www.Golive.co.inis pleased to announce “ImbaGamer Cup 2009-2010†- A national level DotAand Counterstrike tournament. 64 teams for Dota and 128 teams for CounterStrike from all over India compete through an online qualifier until the top 16teams of the tournament are decided. Then these top 16 teams will be invited toLan tournament to play the ImbaGamer Cup 2009-2010’s finals.

Details for the ImbaGamer Dota tournament areprovided below. The ImbaGamer Counterstrike tournament details will be updatedshortly in the Garena Fps forum.
The tournament ismainly split into 2 categories:
* The Online Qualifiers for the ImbaGamer Cup 2009-2010. (which will decide the top 16 teams[8 amateur and 8 Professional])
* The Grand LAN Finals at Chosen Destination (Will be Updated Shortly).
A maximum of 32 clansare allowed to register in ImbaGamerDota amateur tournament.
A maximum of 32 clansare allowed to register in ImbaGamer Dotaprofessional tournament.
General:
* Competition method: 5 v 5
* DotA Map : DotA Allstars v6.64 (Or the next latest stable map)
* Version: 1.24b
* Mode in game : -cmoi (captains mode observer info)
* Banned tournament heroes: None.
* Garena is mandatory for all games. (Garena - Connecting world gamers | Esports platform| Dota platform| Cod4 platform| CS | CSS | AOE | Garena Fire)

The Tournament willbe divided into 3 stages (For Dota Only)
December 14th ---Round -1
Tournament startswith the online qualifier for the
1.
ImbaGamer amateur tournament (32) Dotateams.
2.
ImbaGamer Professional tournament (32)Dota teams.
·
Thisround will have 8 groups consisting of 4 teams each for both ImbaGamer Amateur Dota tournament and ImbaGamer Professional Dota Tournament.
·
Arandom draw will be done by the ImbaGamer Admins to decide what other clanswhich complete their group.
·
Thegroups and fixtures will be announced once the registration phase is over.
·
Inthis stage- each clan will play against every other clan in its group. Matcheswill be in a Best of 1 format.
·
Allgames will be in 1.24b
·
Eachteam receives points based on the match result :
Win: 2 points
Loss: 0 points
·
Eachclan will be given one postpone card (pp card) for this stage.
·
Thetop 2 clans from each of the 8 groups will progress to the next round.
·
Thisround will use round robin format.
January 11th-Round 2 Starts
* The 16 teams which come from the previous leg will be split into 4 groups of 4 clans each (4x4) each for both ImbaGamer Amateur Dota tournament and ImbaGamer Professional Dota Tournament. This round will again use round robin format.
* A random draw done by ImbaGamer Admins will decide the teams in each group.

Thegroups and fixtures will be announced once Round 1 is over.
* In this stage- each clan will play against every other clan in its group. Matches will be in a Best of 1 format.
* All games will be in 1.24b.
*
Each team receives points based on the match result :
o Win: 2 points
o Loss: 0 points
* Each clan will be given one postpone (pp card) for this stage.
* The top 2 clans from each group progress to the next round (meaning 8 out of the 16 clans will progress to the Lan Finals)

Prize Money: (For Professionals)
A total amount of 68,000 Rs + 68k worth of goodieswill be distributed amongst the top 8 Professional clans of the “ImbaGamer
Cup 2009-2010†in the following sequence:
* Rs. 12,000/-
+ 12K worth of Goodies.
* Rs. 11,000/-
+ 11k worth of Goodies.
* Rs. 10,000/-
+ 10k worth of Goodies.
* Rs. 9,000/-
+ 9k worth of Goodies.
* Rs. 8,000/-
+ 8k worth of Goodies.
* Rs. 7,000/-
+ 7k worth of Goodies.
* Rs. 6,000/-
+ 6k worth of Goodies.

TheImbaGamer Cup 2009-2010-LAN finalswill be held in Jan last weekend or Feb 1st weekend based on numberof teams participating.
* The travel and accommodation "will not" be sponsored by ImbaGamer.
* The exact details of the LAN finals will be announced once the first round of online qualifiers are over.
* Please note that this LAN final will determine the seeds in India and it shall be referred to as a standard for future DotA tournaments from Golive.
