Good one buddy but that should be found in xxx domains and btw saw this news (below link) and our govt has decided to ban these domains which i guess are yet to arrive..sunny27 said:where's brianna banks and jenna jameson? no wait...............!!
these government staff are the main culprits as i remember when FTV was banned some years ago, the then I&B minister said we watched FTV :clap:and it contained lot of nude stuff (i guess it was Rio carnival time) and therefore not suitable for Indian viewers.. earlier the FTV was a direct link (relay) from Paris and therefore can't be controlledsunny27 said:^^from the land which has over a billion people and the nation which is the birthplace of kamasutra - comes the world's most hypocritical moral police!! to quote russel peters "there are over a billion of us, someone's f**king somewhere now!!"
That means viewing porn sites "Hosted" abroad is "OKAY"thegame said:From the link that i posted, it says" Distributing adult content is illegal in India, and violators can face a maximum of five years in prison. That being said, Indian law does not forbid the consumption of pornographic materials. "
If distribution is illegal then how come it can be consumed legally:huh::huh: if you cut all the sources i.e. distribution then how will it be brought or is it that one should take care of all these stuff on his own
Exactly and even if they have to file a case against me then they will have to file it against BSNL which is my ISP and also my distributor of porn and me a only a cosumer (this is where our Indian laws rock!!)Aman27deep said:That means viewing porn sites "Hosted" abroad is "OKAY"

You are WRONG. Read thisnehaladsul said:Anything and everything related to P*** is illegal in India. :|
The law also states that production and watching pornographic materials is legal but distribution of pornography is prohibited. Pornographic films in India are referred to as Blue Films and are available virtually anywhere; especially in areas where pirated material is already being sold. Despite the illegality, stores selling X-rated material are abundant in major cities, advertising openly and rarely are the laws enforced in this case. However in 2010 bombay high Court ruled that watching pornography is legal.
Seriously, our laws rock!! Parodies of laws and guidelines.thegame said:Exactly and even if they have to file a case against me then they will have to file it against BSNL which is my ISP and also my distributor of porn and me a only a cosumer (this is where our Indian laws rock!!)
Why don't you check something authoritative like bare acts rather than Wikipedia and Google while making statements... :SAman27deep said:You are WRONG.
The Indian Penal Code under Section 292 contains punishment for possession, circulation, exhibition or distribution of obscene materials whether it is in the form of a book, pamphlet, writing, drawing, painting or representation etc.
Section 67 provides for punishment for a person, who transmits or publishes or causes to be published or transmitted any material, which is obscene in electronic form with both imprisonment and fine. Further section 80 bestows powers to any Police Officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police or any other officer of the Central Government or State Government authorized by Central Government in this behalf, to enter any Public Place, search and arrest without warrant any person found there, who is suspected of committing any offence under this Act.
Section 67 considers the obscene material in electronic form by itself to find out whether it is so obscene that is likely to deprave and corrupt those, where minds are open to influences of this sort and into whose hands the obscene material in electronic form is likely to fall. Technically speaking, section 67 like section 292(1) of Indian Penal Code does not make knowledge of obscenity an ingredient of the offence.
