Import Duty of Graphic card from Aussie

Hi,
I am planning to buy 3090 for about 2 months now, but the cost is huge right now. I tried RPTech, but the never-ending waitlist.

So, my sis lives in Melbourne, I am thinking of getting an EVGA card from there, does anyone know how much is GST and customs duty on cards? And if my sis posts it as an open box, or use a different box, does it still invite custom duty?

42% if you include the bill or 77% if she sends it as a gift.

^Above is true if you don't have IEC code, if you have one you'll be charged according to the HS code(which I think will be ~18%)

Lets say if I find someone with IEC code in my friends, so how does it work?

She thinking to send it via UPS
 
Yeah, that should work. There are other not so legal ways but let's not discuss them in public threads.
