sure i'll look into it as well crazy_eddy.
But tell me, is it A8N-VM or Biostar 6100-M9? Dont tell me both are good. Wat wud u go for if u were in my shoes?
I'm going to blindly choose the one u guys say.
^ Never chose blindly, in fact dont ever listen to me blindly
Well the Biostar board is good, quality wise. And the Asus is great as always. Both boards are quite identical as I mentioned earlier. The critical difference between the two is - the Biostar overclocks very well, while the Asus has very minimal overclocking possibilities from the reviews i've seen. If you are a compulsive overclocker, or would like to get your feet wet , the Biostar would be a good bet.
If overclocking isnt necessary for you, I would go with the next important issue - warranty support. The Asus is backed with a 3 yr warranty, i'm not too sure about the warranty provided by Biostar. Perhaps Raghu can confirm that. If both have the 3yr warranty, then you have nothing to lose by going for the Biostar
P.S: Do consider the rest of the suggestions, like a DVD writer in lieu of a Combo drive , etc. Apart from that your original config looks good too.
^^ u've got me all confusedhyeah: . But yes, since i wont be overclocking, i thought i'll go with Asus.
And yes, i'll try my best to get everything possible without burning my pocket too much.
