Looks like either you overlooked the kinetic energy example, or perhaps you are totally unaware of mathematics & physics and its utility in daily life (where you don't actually sit with measuring tapes and stopwatches)? The confusion is evident.
Nope, first you decide whether measuring has to be done or not.Looks like either you overlooked the kinetic
Sorry bhai if I offended you. I wasnt laughing at you.ICMR Dietary Guidelines 2024 -
Sorry, bhai, but I am actually laughing at your post.Sorry bhai if I offended you. I wasnt laughing at you.
I was laughing at the guidelines as they seem to be completely outdated and wont do any good to the diabetic and obesity epidemic which has been brought on by these same guidelines for past generation now.
Just my opinion. Nothing against you or anyone. Again sorry, if you took offense from my laugh.
Thanks @ibose - it seems like a useful document. @animishticomb - I am not an expert in the area, but this seems useful to me (I am a reasonably fit man). but in case you have credible references to specific points where there is room for improvement in these guidelines, please elaborate.ICMR Dietary Guidelines 2024 -
Honestly though, what are we even going to do about micro plastics? We are churning out endless plastic material on daily basis and the average human doesn't even care one bit. It's starting to get too big a problem to reverse.Study finds microplastics in blood clots, linking them to higher risk of heart attacks and strokes. Of the 30 thrombi acquired from patients with myocardial infarction, deep vein thrombosis, or ischemic stroke, 24 (80%) contained microplastics.

Decades ago, Kris Hansen showed 3M that its PFAS chemicals were in people’s bodies. Her bosses halted her work. As the EPA now forces the removal of the chemicals from drinking water, she wrestles with the secrets that 3M kept from her and the world.www.propublica.org
A long grievous and chilling read, for those who are interested.
Do you think we care about future generations? We only care about us, our immediate relations and how to give them competitive edge over plethora of other human beings on this planet. And of course, we don't care about any other life forms on this planet.@rootyme

Looks like this is several times serious a problem than lead in fuel. Probably, it probably may even change our DNA. Unless society find a solution to mitigate this, world is doing a serious disservice to future generations for which human as an animal live.

How, Dr. Munnabhai ?...to get diabetes fastly and furiously.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. It's a bad place for asking or giving dietary or medical advice. Then again asking dietary advice to TE experts be like -
Lovely! I thought you would never ask...How, Dr. Munnabhai ?
Concluding this only on the basis of the diet in the photo ? All such sweeping generalized statements are fantastic and catchy but do not make any sense unless backed by facts.1. Most Indians, who are well-off, grew up eating the same diet from the photo. The majority of such 50+ YO are now either diabetic, pre-diabetic or at least cruising at 5%+ hba1c. Many of these people have never stepped inside a hotel, still they got the diabetes.
2. From the looks of it, it's at least 70% sugar (most of its coming from grains).
