Ready for a 3rd season? Then be prepared for STARZ's gargantuan show being revived next year. Yes, we now have an official teaser for the new season of Spartacus dubbed 'Spartacus Vengeance' to be hitting our boobtubes in January 2012.

Spartacus: Vengeance stars Liam McIntyre in the title role, Lucy Lawless, Manu Bennett, Peter Mensah, Nick Tarabay, Craig Parker and Viva Bianca. The show is scheduled to hit airwaves early 2012 only on Starz.

Following the chaotic events at the end of season one (Blood and Sand), Spartacus is on the heels of leading a slave rebellion with the bold promise to make "Rome tremble". Lucretia (Lucy Lawless) has been left for dead after a seemingly fatal stabbing at the hands of Crixus and housemaster Batiatus has been struck down by Spartacus himself. Vengeance picks up after the blood splattered finale and promises to be huge in scope as Spartacus begins to amass his army with one goal in mind: revenge.

This show is in no way worth the hype it gets and that sorry excuse for a teaser is in no way worth making a thread about.

Dude we have had threads created in gaming section, for games, which are a year away from it's release, and had discussions on it. Early or not, this is news for an upcoming TV show, which some of us are interested in and is (like it or not) the initiation of it's discussion. The moment it gets more update we start filling it up. Plain and simple.
 
That was not my point.
We get regular updates from the upcoming game titles but from a television series what can we expect unless it is not broadcasted.:S
 
What? I'm not sure if you've followed this series closely, but STARZ always previews this show's details in various trailers, prior to the release of it's season. They also provide interviews from the cast. Moreover, we also get to know what new members are added on and what the story is all about. EVERYTHING has news; be it movies, be it games, be it electronic hardware. Hence, there are threads created, irrespective of their time of release.

I somehow missed your post in my sleepy state last night. That's YOUR opinion of the show and I respect that. For me, it delivers on what it's supposed to, which is entertainment. Also a small newsflash, I don't need permission on creating a new thread in a 'General Talk' section. I'll be repeating the same lines which I did for 'ggt' (who still doesn't seem to get it), but then again, I assume your wise enough to understand what I wrote. :)

Ok .. So this becomes something like the spartacus facebook page since the content is same anyways :P

I feel my ability to detect a joke is dimming, but I'm supposed to laugh at this comment, YES? :P
 
Not one single show is worth the hype it gets, it eventually lies with eyes of the beholder.

To me this is one of the most anticipated shows next year, right there at the top with "Winter is coming"
 
Yup. I am waiting for the final season of Entourage to start on July 24.
