The 17 Record Win was denied.. YET AGAIN ..!!

(if u count their 16th a Win actually ..)

Get the correct umpires , get the match .. :bleh:

And also the last time any team beat Australia.. in Australia .. Was none other than the Blue Team ...

Atleast the time spent on this match paid off ... :clap:

Well Symonds got the other end of the stick this time... Also Hussey got a rough one which was evened out by Sachins 1st innings dismissal.

India wins...deservedly...

India deseved this win... The couldnot have won the second one also if there would have been perfect umpiring.. India atlast cooked the kangaroos...

Superb match ...i liked it a lot...

For me, Ishant bowled a superb spell today in the morning session. I mean, one just has to look at the way he bowled to Ponting! Simpll Amazing.
Eventhough he got only one wicket in the 2nd innings, he was so so good early on. I hope we see more of this lad, in the coming matches.

Chak De!

EDIT: Just after I wrote this, I checked cricinfo and look what I found! :D
Cricinfo - One hour that shook Ponting

Very good read !

^^ Damn Good Spell that one..

19 yr old bowling to Ponting..

Ponting got loads to think now. And the cheek of it.. he wasnt ready to admit that his batsmen were foxed by the swing.

Symonds.. Ahh..

he didn stood even wen dravid had taken his catch in the first innings.. the second innings levelled it all .. ;)

More on Ishant : :)

To quote from cricinfo :

When they look up the scorecard years later, Ishant Sharma will be found to have only one entry in the wickets column in the second innings. But scorecards don't often tell the story. It was a day when Ishant Sharma shook up Ricky Ponting and set up a famous win.

Ishant had already bowled 7 overs on the trot, when Kumble was thinking of replacing him, Sehwag came up, and the proud Delhi cricketer that he is, suggested Kumble that he persist with Ishant for 2 more overs.. His sole point being that under his captaincy (Delhi team), Ishant used to bowl 12 overs on the trot. The rest, as they say, is history!

If you'd missed Ishant's action today watch this:
YouTube - Ponting bamboozled by Ishant Sharma

Sh1t I'm turning into an Ishant fanboy!! :P

PPL ... Aussies were just not well behaved in the last match ,, and you are all all saying such things ... dont tell me that all the 16 they had WON before this was due to Cheating or bad behaviour.

India won .. great ... but this always happens .. India wins just one match .. and whole nation goes berserk. It shouldnt be like that. Aussies are also a great team (talent wise) and you cant just say that they win only when they cheat and all.

^good point, India has just won one match (could have been two) the aussies on the other hand won 15 on the trot(exluding sydney to avoid pointless arguments) and that too twice in recent memory. That is an awesome feat. Also, winning a test in perth after 11 years does not necessairly show how good india were as it shows how long the aussies have been dominant.

India occasoionally show that they can be best team in the world, but we have never won on a really consistent basis.

<OT>

The sad thing is that everyone would have been watching the match today and very few would have caught the Federer - Tipsovich match -- f'ing brilliant 4.5 hours of tennis

</OT>

All said and done, India did perform well in this match. And they definitely deserve to draw the series now. Well done Team India :hap2:

just because they played well in this match doesnt mean they deserve to win the series. What they deserve, depends on how they play the next test. They played this well, they won it. But if aussies play the next one well... they also deserver it equally.

^^ They deserve to draw the series cause of the shitty decisions which cost us the first two matches. They have fought back hard, and its only fair that they level the series
