That time Muralitharan and Vaas were not there :(

I also agree that Agarkar should be dropped and either Sreesanth or Pathan should get a chance.

I guess tht sums it all up for India's record...;) If they are able to make some records against the lankans (or atleast defeat them), then tht wud really be praiseworthy...

Anyways records are records and though its strictly feel good, its just a matter of time before one of the biggies(read Aussies, proteas etc. ) will break it..cos crossing 400 is getting increasingly easy for these teams nowadays..

Lets just keep our fingers crossed and pray tht viru doesnt suffer from amnesia again..because he and the others need to perform on D-Day..and perform really well if they stand a chance..
 
oops India hasnt won 8 out of 10 against lanka...It has actually won 9 of the last 11 played b/w the 2 countries...Lanka is actually Indias bunny in recent times.......

I like if they win over lanka with 1 run or 1 wicket. Any one can kick Puppy but dare to TOUCH Tiger.
 
That still does not make me think we'll beat them : (. You'll find out today. If the bang vs sl match is anything resembling one-sided then we're in for trouble.

Lol!!:ohyeah: :ohyeah: But if there was one good thing about his batting in that match, it was that he played a lot straighter.He dispensed with cross-batted shots in that match.Only when his confidence was back, he started playing those.

Also tendu seems to be in some sort of form.Maybe it's not a bad idea to open with him.

We made a mistake by not taking VVS laxmax to the world cup.He would have provided us much needed middle order stability.
