India to Sterilize 8 Million Stray Dogs

bullshit.......everynight I am unable to sleep bcoz of dogs making a racket.
SOme new dogs have come to our locality andchased our street dogs, I will post pics in this thread tommorow..

This measure is to reduce(control) the number of those "new dogs" and let "your street dogs" remain in peace. :P
 
wonder when will people be mass sterilized? no one seems to care that the population of the country is growing too rapidly and yet people give birth to 3-4 children.

indian people are like mice. having sex all the time and reproducing very quickly.

It's mostly the rural population to blame if you really have to.

In spite of conducting various programmes on Family Planning, they just go on & on and add to the ever rising figure of our population. :huh:

How can anyone count or verify the facts to come up with this 8 million figure. I mean do they go around doing it in a scientific method or just come up with a fancy sounding round figure to make it look impressive?

They take a sample re. For instance count the number of dogs in a town * no of towns in India = total number of dogs in India. Or number of dogs/sq. km of urban area * no. of sq kms of urban area and so on.

The quality of the conclusion depends very much on the sampling methodology they use.

Oh yea, lets all sterlilize 9 million dogs and let the 1.2 billion humans have as many kids as they want. They should limit the number of kids people have on their IQ scores...below 100 and you don't get to have any kids. Simple solution to all our problems, no quota shuota.

honestly, 8 million is a low number!!

that is 80 lakh dogs! i am quite sure thats the number only in metros combined! More the people -> more the dogs!
