the only obstacle is the stress of academics in India, its very huge.
Maybe with the new option of grading system in boards it might help students to do something else than just study all the time (i think they should've done away with it but grading is just as agood)
And besides, piracy is huge in india, unless they do something about the price of their games, piracy is going to continue.
Though chers to Indian company's making it to gaming market. there is also a company called 'indiagames' that is a very famous mobile games developer.
