I don't think that will be successful in the long run. Similar browser initiatives in other countries have struggled to gain market share beyond their domestic markets. Also, most people in India don't care about online privacy.

Well, it is just Chromium, don't see it working any different in any government department compared to Chrome or Edge. Usability and speed is a design rather than browser problem.

I wont be surprised if all other browsers are banned and then all citizen required to link AADHAR with this browser before using it.
I use this browser and its alright, but its updater is broken and requires manual updates on a regular basis.
