Evolution doesn't need a degree in biology. It's literally an accepted theory of human and other races. There's no point in pushing this to 11th. You want rational thinking from an early age.
Nobody is arguing against this.
Our govt wants pseudoscience. Look at what they want to do with doctors finishing MBBS.
No, it's the people that demand it.
Interestingly this did not translate into vaccine hesitancy as it did abroad with covid. Doesn't the govt brag it inoculated a billion twice over
Blame this society for that. My doctor mentioned this to me over a decade ago. There were people offering remedies that were booked out weeks in advance. In spite of not being allopathic they at times prescribed such medicines which he objected to or considered a contradiction. He'd treated people who had come from other schools of thought.
I could get an appointment with him within 24h. These other doctors, heh, join the line. People in this country have had more faith in natural, ayurvedic, or anything else than allopathic since forever. That is the culture of this country. They think modern medicine is a scam. Only money-making business and lost its empathy. This means other methods are cheaper if more time-consuming. Hence popular for the sake of cost avoidance.
Let that sink in
Think about the words placebo and nocebo. Why do they exist? Does the mind have some bearing on well-being? Science cannot figure out the connection and says its all a load of bunk
That is not how people in this country think. And the surprising thing is I'm referring to otherwise educated people who will go out of their way to find a doc with a system, get in line and put in as much time as it takes to make that system work.
I'd developed this ache in my back. Some people told me oh this will never go away and it will take time and you have to do this and bloody that. I went to my doc, he put me on some meds, the pain was gone in a week and ten years later never returned. I always rub this into the people who told me that.
