The US can and IS doing it. But they are stretched thin. It is easier for us to do this, because unlike the US, we have decades of anti-insurgence experience. Our pilots are adept at bombing mountain sides - how do you think they managed kargil without crossing the LOC?
Besides, we don't have to worry about longer term things like human rights abuses etc. The US is trying to stay put in Afghanistan. Our troops need be there for no more than a year. Moreover, the US is very cautious about conducting any activities near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. That place is the most lawless area, the biggest bugbear of the Americans, but they don't want to piss off Pakistan, so they are circumspect about it except when they absolutely HAVE to. We on the other hand, are getting absolutely nothing from the Pakistanis of late - just a day ago the mother******* killed 32 Hindus in J&K. We can afford to piss off (an on) General Mush.

But the MAIN thing is the nukes..... I know , I know.... you guys will say that no nation will drop a nuke on another...
But the Islamic terrorists will not think twice of nuking India.

0n December,2002 President General Pervez Mush-arraf said that at the height of the standoff with India last June, he sent signals to New Delhi that “if Indian troops moved a single step across the international border or the Line of Control, they should not expect a conventional war :bomb: from Pakistanâ€.

Kudos to Fernandez for not replying another one of those 'Peaceful Neta' style.
Not to sound that offensive, but i just can't stand the whole Muslim community. From the way they kill chickens to the way they execute human beings, to the way of preaching that no other religion deserves to exist besides Allah, to the length of their cunningness threatening India again and again knowing they stand no chance. lol, going off-topic but i needed to say this once!
