It will eventually fall down, as it has always happened with Optical Technology. I remember buying a 32X CDROM for 6k & a 4X CD Writer For 14k, media the most expensive i bought was a GOLD Maxel 2x CDR for 600rs each and this was a decade ago.. But as technology is advancing at a faster pace than before, we should be seeing the BD-R at affordable price within a year or two max.....

lol in a years time...:P

Thats too optimistic..(Not possible)

You dont get a decent DVD media for 10bux these days ;)

I see the price of a Blu-Ray writer settling around 5-6k INR by the end of the year and a Blu Ray R for around 400 bucks while a RW will still costs around 700-800.

i prefer moser baer or generic brands like National/Dollar etc. Akari is the worst brand ive experienced... i bought Dual Layer Moser Baer to write DiRT for 100 bux.. but i think Moser Baer = National quality is the same in dvd-r

Yeah i got many Nationals for 10 each... but was not sure about the quality... Hence stopped buying it..

^ Oh okay, the tech.com ones are Verbs. According to Chaos atleast.

He just bought their Q4 2007 factory stock :|

I am too scared to get those..recently i have burned atleast 100 Nationals... After that stopped using it.. Now using Sony only..

Nationals are with same media ids as verbs or mitsu , they are made by out very own dear Moser Baer , and the scan results most of the times are better than the normal Moser baer pro media which is crap anyways.
