LOL the techshop post turned into a todphod post :)

I hope the finance ministry cuts import duties to nil (or near nil) so that online and retail tech sales can boom...

In terms of processors...you'll find them cheaper in India than in the US.

^going by KMD's threads here, the prices are about as good as you can get, and a really wide range of products on offer ..
 
When i read the Thread title "India's Newegg" i thought Todphod has launched .. hehe :D

Me eagerly waiting for its launch .. KMD dont delay it after april :)

Well TODPHOD is special is because its by KMD (katmandude)

I joined the forum recently and came to know about KMD when I wanted to know how to get computer stuff not available in India....

Although I haven't bought much from him...just a CCFL kit and a few LED fans but the deal was the best:hap2: :hap2:

1)Fastest response ( ordered 3 am in morning...1st response 8 am...deal terms cleared by 11 am....payment by me 1 pm.... shipped by evening....received goods in Ahmedabad in 2 days...)...thts what I would call service.:ohyeah:

2) Best prices....

3) You get stuff which you would have to normally order from outside India...

thru relatives or frds or u have to handle the headache of shipping duties and all tht...:)

His prices and service made the online retail scene change....:cool2:

New dealers came into the picture and prices became more competitive...

Can't wait for TODPHOD:hap2:

guys one query slighltly OT: When i was browsing though newegg,i saw Philips 42" 1080p Full HD LCDTV for $1100(~Rs.45,000) But the same is available in india for 90k+!!! Its almost double! Why such a huge price difference? Is it just bcoz Indian Taxes?
