My earphones stopped working and I'm desperate need for new one I know with several options but most of brands won't be available locally and I need to get today itself , looking to get it around borivali mumbai budget 1k

In borivali you can try out bitsy computers in moksh plaza. but not really sure if they have IEMs. but that is i think the biggest Computer shop in and around borivali.

Ele you always have lamington road.
Go to Prime abgb at lamington.

There's only 100/- difference between SMC and Flipkart so he can get it from anywhere. The PL11 used to be at 650/- but now the prices have gone double.Maybe cause the stocks are very low and these retailers are as usual raising the prices.
That is ~3x the price here at SMC International OR any half-decent audio store.

I wont be getting anything since they would take 2-3 days to deliver and would go out tomorrow and look for some ear phones

I decided to hold on and would order tomorrow now I need 2 earphones one for listening while travelling and one for listening at home.I had used Marshmallow which I feel would be prefered choice for listening while travelling how does it fairs in comparision to other earphones in same price range soundmagic ?

The other earphones on which I have my eyes are on Pro Alpha or M1 any suggestion within same price range ? I like bass a lot so would prefer them which has

@dinjo sorry for leaving you in the dark; I thought you had gone ahead with whatever options you had at hand.

These are the IEM's I recommend if you want to enjoy music on the move --
  • JVC Marshmallows; I am using them for the very same purpose (travel music), they are a decent sounding pair in my opinion but on certain songs / compositions they require the volume to be raised (something I dislike about the same). Also thanks to a somewhat enjoyable bass posture I find they are only good for Alternative, Rap-rock and Hindi music, start listening to technical stuff like tool and things start sounding squished by the bass, and highs like high-hats and cymbals start crashing; gives me a headache.
  • SoundMAGIG PL-11; never used these, talk to @sandeepsachin and @esanthosh.
  • SoundMAGIC ES18; same as above.
  • SoundMAGIC PL-21; the premier budget IEM's by SoundMAGIC (falling behind the PL-30, PL-50, E10 and E30) these are one of the best value bass IEM's, I have heard. The bass is taut and engaging, speed is also acceptable; I gifted these to a friend and demoed Lamb of God's -- Laid to Rest on these and that initial drum sequence was imprinted into my mind. I am still searching for a IEM that gets bass this taut whilst not sacrificing other aspects of the music (need to try the same thing on my new VSONIC GR 02).

For the other IEM's these are what I can suggest --
  • VSONIC GR99; never used these, speak to @abhi_jollyguy and esanthosh on their views.
  • BRAINWAVZ Pro Alfa; said to be more bass-effective than their cousin's the M1, sacrificing M1's nuanced treble and technical detailed sound signature, talk to @Gannu Sir (he owns these) and @esanthosh.
  • SoundMAGIC E10; speak to esanthosh on his views on these.
  • VSONIC GR 02 Bass edition; my latest acquisition, these are really good over-all, in a sense they remind me of M1's but with a more voluminous bass signature and the music sounds very good overall, the M1 tends to separate the instruments and vocals (gives it great technical detail but overall music is less musical), I would highly recommend these to anyone if they cannot go for the BRAINWAVZ M2.
  • BRAINWAVZ M2; never used these in person but enough reviews, impression point it as a bass-heads delight, speak about these to @sandeepsachin, @abhi_jollyguy and @esanthosh.

Source used with all these IEM's have experienced / heard is the Sansa Clip+.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!
