Hi,

I am starting this thread because of search "usb 2 lan" dont work search box

i have a Tpower i45 Mobo and PC, it got a malfunction in lan port

LAN port is not at all sensed or working

with my ZTE modem i managed to connect it via USB and started working.

isues are

1) USB driver vanishes once in while.. needs uninstall and reinstall and some troule shooting.

2) driver was not intended for Win7 since i used 32 bitOS it worked.

im loosing 1 gb of my ram being in 32 bit.

so wats my options,

or should i buy a lan card..

i have a usb adaptor laying around so i can buy an ADSL router and go wireless too (costly affair)
 
i have a laptop which also has lan port gone

its still under warranty , so may be i will give to HP to sort it out..

for PC , Should i go for PCI-E or PCI will be enough?
