'Inspired Indian Songs' or simply cheating the music lovers..??

I used to watch Hindi films as a kid, and they were original in their own rights... I believe this copycat trend may have started sometime in the early 90's and it's only gotten worse after that.

yeah chaos i agree with you .. recent hindi films are just POS :) and so is the condition of music i really dont know what ppl find in this "jhalak dhikla jaa" DISGUSTING A PIECE OF SONG THT IS AMONG MILLIONS.i didnt followed up the title its hindi"film" music :p. was thinkn abt any indian music lol :p.

About copying movies actually there's no point in blaming the movie makers. The indian cinema audience is simply retarded. Original scripts and good cinema is hardly appreciated now-a-days, movies which suffered from this fate are Black, Lakshya, Swades, Yuva(minus the songs), and there could be so many other examples where movies which were very much sensible, superb direction and an original script but din't do well at the BO. Thats the part where indian film audience sucks..............

Whereas wholly lifted movies from directors like the bhatts, sanjay gupta etc (who just rent movies and life everything) are recieved very well by the audiences. Please stop sending the wrong vibes to the film makers. Unless people stop watching such movies those filmmakers are going to try and play safe and stick to copying movies from other sources since those have already been time-tested.

Well......drug addicts are to be blamed.

And btw, anu malik can make excellent music when he doesn't copy. Which unfortunately is very rare.

^^ but then we all know something that u start selling is always bought later..... unless and untill u dont sell or invent something to sell buyers dont have anything to buy.. later they get adicted and demand for more...what i am tryin to say is somewhere the crapy movies started to sell like hot cakes and now since audiance cant digest good scripts like swadesh they are at a loss.... they dont know what good movies are like ... u cant just blame audiance... i seriously blame the film industry.. in one of my own meeting with SRK he said he hates some of his own movies and he has not watched it and he himself dint want paheli to go for oscars .. he was actually in an argument with amol palekar when he made him sign for the permision... ..

i just cant understand when will we see quality films..... i loved satya . vastav.. khamoshi....there are tons to me named... u know mvoies like these are classics... i am not saying dont get inspired and make films likeholywood.... infact do make good films from there in our versions so that people know whats a good film .. but give credits.... stop selling crap and trust indian audiance they will def. like movies of good caliber.... swadesh they say is not that hit... but belive me there is not a single person whom i meet said he/she dint like the movie.......

max, I think the problem is that most filmmakers aren't here to make quality films. They're here to make money. Hence, they'll continue to play the safe game, and dish out crap which is popular with the mainstream.

On the other hand, nobody is forcing the audience to watch a particular movie.....so yes, I would say the audience is to blame.

u tell me in past so many years what is the audiance getting... they are just getting shit and they just are use to all that shit...

i blame both very equally... now if u see ecomonically why will directors and producers noy meke money if their crap is selling like cakes.... somebody started selling crappy cakes and people loved it...

seriously its no use even discussin and arguing.. i jsut regret that i dont have a little power in my hand or i could have given an article or some kind of awareness.... infact there should be like some good sensible indian movie festival week... where continously for a week they show really good movies for 24/7 so people start realizing what they should be actully be interested in..

well he is actually right ..

India holds the record for the most no of movies produced in a calendar year.. and its nothing surprising that they manage to do this year after year .. as the movies are shamelessely copied and by the time ppl realise that its a rip off.. the movie gen has recovered its money ..

There has to be general awareness and some kinda regulatory body to stop this mindless acts of ppl ..

ppl who knew that Koi mil gaya had ET thing in it cuz the similarity ended there itself .. the whole thing was still made nicely .. bt copying the stuff fully and on top of that not giving the credits/royalities to the original composers.. thats is really stooping low..

Its the classic chicken and egg scenario. and imho the audience is more to blame and thats my viewpoint. I can't really help it if you think the other way. everyone has a opinion.
Agree with your 2nd para though.

ITS sad that movies in india are copied from various sources...but that doesnt mean there is no good filmmaking talent around...lagaan was awesome so was swades and black....i loved 'my brother nihkil' and virrudh as well....there are people who make good movies and the occasional copied ones are good as well ...sarkar for example...only problem is there are not enough movies like the above made regularly...and there are idiots like karan johar around who keep repeating the same B.S over and over and over again...and people dont seem to get tired of it too ! ... there should be commercial movies but upto an extent :| and yes there is a souped up bollywood version of rocky coming up with zayed khan  he is the worst actor ive seen in a long long time :p its gonna be fun tryin to find out how many mistakes they are gonna make in this bollywood version of ROCKY....i dunno why filmmakers dont get the point that there are so many different indian stories that can be told ....and they still go looking for stuff like rocky :| there isnt much creativity around in bollywood thats the problem...get some creative people ...FAST! its like the gaming industry to tell u the truth ...the same package repeated over and over again ....with better effects and more candy floss thats abt it...

^^ aggreed with u ..................................... but i would love to see indian rocky and that too zahid ......:eek:hyeah: :eek:hyeah: :eek:hyeah:

its gonna be a laugh riot ... DUS was soooo funny...was lmao throughout the movie  wonder how bad this is gonna be :)
