Graphic Cards installing new gts250

guys, need ur help urgently.

atlast bought Palit gts 250 512mb, but dont know how to install it. i hav vx450, which has one 6-pin connector and on palit gts 250, it has 2 slots for 6 pin. the card has come wid 4pin to 6pin converter. i guess, using this i can convert two 4pin into one 6pin. so, using this 6pin and another 6pin of vx450, will card run peacefully?

also, the card has come with this tiny wire:


i think its for hdmi sumthin, the white end will go into the card, but wht abt 2 black ends??

help.......
 
You need to connect that 2 4-Pin wires(called Molex-to-6 Pin) to 4-Pin power supply connectors. These are specifically made for a purpose that some power supplies like vx450 doesn't come with 2 PCI-E connectors.

These converters are specially made for power hungry cards.

That thin wire is for DVI over HDMI audio channel.
