Hi Guys,

I have hutch vanilla GPRS conx (Rs.49/month one) on my mobile n-gage QD.
I want to know are there any instant messenging software available which i can use on my phone and this connection.I'm specifically looking for support with yahoo!

I tried agile messenger and IM+ but both are unable to connect to any chat networks :(
I don't wanna use the yahoo! WAP messenger as its no good.
Pls advice...

Regards,

If IM+ fails i woner anythin will work :P. agile is the best out there but IM+ shud work absolutely as it uses a diff means to connect.

Which connection u have x86 ?

I've also have tried both these s/w on my bro.'s phone, Nokia 6260 using hacked airtel live! GPRS connection, but it dosen't work on it also..

Only these IM s/w are not working...I'm able to open all http and wap sites on both these phones using web browser like opera :S

Well i can't put the details right here, as mods won't quite appreciate it, but you can google for it, its pretty easily available :ohyeah:
Since you don't about the hack, I think you would be using the mobile office GPRS plan or somethin, in which you can access your net from your PC too...?

Which GPRS plan r u using Darklord ?? Is it the free one ?

^^In a way, yes :ashamed: but you gotta look for them in right places

:ohyeah:

Anyways i think i've found these messenger's fail to run in my phone(s).
The vanilla GPRS conx(s) which i have, isn't really completely open. All the communication must be done through a proxy(given by network provider). In html browser i can specify that proxy, but in instant messengers i can't, so they don't work...so gotta somehow enable proxy for them too...any ideas ??

Regards,
