had got from a friend sometime back thinking my own processor (i7-2600K) had been wrecked alongwith my motherboard. he was upgrading his machine so sold this to me. however after testing this thought to give a shot to my own old processor again, and after cleaning & reinstalling it in the new motherboard, found it was well alive. so using the same now, while this lies packed as was received. had tested it after receiving it & its lying as is since then. originally purchased sometime in 2012-13, was never overclocked. reinstalling it & sharing cpuz-img would be cumbersome hence will provide 2-3 days' testing warranty. could also consider exchanging it with an LG1150 processor (for an H97M board).

purchased recently from @puns through here. was an impulse purchase. havent used it beyond testing it & dont see myself putting it to good use ahead. hence thought better to let it go to somebody else.
