I need help in buying a new CPU & MOBO. My budget and
requirements are as follows:

Existing hardware setup:
Corsair vx550, gskill ripjawsx 2*4gb, 3*1tb HDD, NZXT
gamma, zotac gtx650ti, etc except CPU & mobo.
Components from the existing setup that you intend to

Components that you have in mind for your new PC:
Intel G3258 & suitable mobo.
Plans to upgrade in the future:

Are you comfortable with buying secondhand components:
Need brand new.

PC will be used as HTPC for 90% of time and 10% for light

Look for a H81/B85 board which had a BIOS with unlocked multipliers available. Intel was quick to ask manufacturers to patch their BIOS, but there are mirrors of older BIOS files still available.

@Crazy_Eddy , so if i can find g3258 then it will have enough grunt to some cad programs smoothly.
