CHIP GIANT Intel will release two single core ultra low voltage (ULV) in mid April, clocking at 1.20GHz and 1.06GHz, it has emerged.

The U1400 and U1300 are likely to cost $250 and $230 respectively, when you buy them in trays from the chip giant.

And it will follow that up with a U2500 later in the year, a dual core 533MHz system bus processor which will cost $280 or so.

Meanwhile, again mid April, it will start selling its 430 and 420 mobile Celeron Yonah chips, clocking at 1.73GHz and 1.60GHz, each with 1MB of cache. Again, later in the year, it will introduce the 410, which is a 1.46GHz 1MB mobile Celeron.

After it introduces the ULV processors, Intel will cut prices on existing mobile Celerons such as the 390 and the 380 as it prepares to shift everything the Yonah way.
