Few advancements in computer technology interest enthusiasts as much as Intel’s future Larrabee architecture does. There is still so little known about final product details, yet the basic premise for the device has been pretty well established at this point. Naturally, where there is still mystery and interest, there will be curiosity and speculation, and Larrabee is no exception. Will it fail or will it not?

It doesnt matter whether it initially fails or not..Intel has the financial backbone to endure the failure and learn from its mistakes and improve it..
 
Larrabee launch scheduled for late 2009 or early 2010, at that period it has to compete with R800 or even RV970 & GT300 or even GT400.. I dont think it will shake ATI & NV..:ohyeah:
 
It just might. DirectX 11 is coming up sooner or later, and if Intel can beat NVidia and ATI at that, even for just a while, then they just might get somewhere.
 
Define "beat" ? Theoretical benchies as well 3dmark shit does not count, it should be properly optimized for all major titles out there. Lets see how the Intel engineers implement it to work with current implementations
 
Ah but there you are wrong. 3d mark is enough to get a few thousand lousy bloggers active and excited. The publicity would be enough.
