It rather depends upon what and how is it different from existing free ones (ex: Airtel Xtreme it stays kind of free) even the local broadband guys are giving free iptv services on a small 100-150 addon bundle along with most of the ott platforms

People interested in the service, please have either one of these three apps installed in their Android TV or Android phone:
1. Tivimate - user-friendly and simple interface
2. OTT Navigator - highly customisable and powerful

There is also Sparkle TV, but I haven't personally tried it

I think this could be good for those who want a managed service, as long as it is fairly priced (below Rs. 250).
They have mentioned their price is Rs. 199/month for the first 3 months, but what about after?

For those who can self-host and have a Jio sim, you can look into these: https://github.com/JioTV-Go/jiotv_go / https://github.com/JioTV-Go/jiotv_go_app

As for players, TiviMate is better for TVs, while iMPlayer is good for phones and those who like to record / playback stuff.
No need to purchase premium for both unless required.

The free versions are okay if you are not into playlist management or use it on a single device without backup. Otherwise, TiviMate costs several hundreds per year and thousands for the lifetime subscription, with iMplayer also charging $25 for 3 devices I think. I personally have multiple playlists split by categories or languages in addition to several free ones, so a paid option is a must for which I chose Televizo because it was priced at 500-600 for 5 lifetime devices with unlimited playlists, when I made the purchase last year.

Makes sense.
I don't really watch much TV and the free versions have been sufficient for me so far since I can customize the playlist from jiotv_go itself.

Thanks for the Televizo suggestion btw! I'll look into it when I'm in need of those features.

Does Televizo support LG Webos?
It says in its faq that Televizo is a video player only and user has to create playlists themselves.
Televizo premium is one time payment & for lifetime and supports 5 devices and anybody can be added and removed anytime.

All these are IPTV players that will not come with a playlist because let's face it, most of these playlists are sourcing content illegally, though with Jio you are technically using a legal option.

Don't have webOS, but this old reddit post lists quite a few options.

I have webOS. Almost all the players are trail and needs payment. SSIPTV is the only free I could find and I use it with jiotvgo. If this becomes paid, I'll use hebrew and move to kodi.

I have Webos & FireTV Stick. So I think using this is good. This player also supports Tizenos of Samsung.

just cost 5 euros for lifetime.

But it has a bug. Which has a simple solution and that is if you start the host url with a space it works Or else if adding the playlist to add the m3u it does not work or connect.

While connecting it asks for MAC address of ethernet or wifi as both are different and after you enter and login to the mikaplayer and load the playlist by using the above trick. It works.

Update:
The IPTV service is now up and running! 6 hour trials are being sent out to TE members exclusively! DM me to try it out
Priced at ₹199pm for the first 3 months
