it should. Try it out, thats the best way to know. the worse that will happen would be that it would get rejected and you would get payment back.

Tried E-Wallet card of axis bank, doesnt work at dealextreme and EA's origin store. :(

My indian credit cards have worked so far in

1) ebay ( paypal not having address issue)

2) amazon and trust me guys amazon has comparable rates with newegg.

3) j & r electronics

4) ncixus.com

My indian citibank card is accepted by Amazon.com (few months back) all addresses of India.(I shipped it in US itself though)

Also it worked on a Travel site based in singapore (agoda.com as well)

The only problem is where the US sites ask for confirmed billing address and if u don't have a confirned address u can't buy from newegg.com

Also I bought some stuff from amazon and they are a bit better than newegg.com also coz they have wider products and newegg.com has only good PC deals I feel

Also sticky it I say

The list of sites and all other payment info posted is already good enough to make this thread sticky, Also the old sticky threads which are not relevant should be removed from sticky list.

Guys, I want to buy an item from eBay US and get it shipped to my Shop and Ship account in NY. The seller has listed this in the item description:

Paypal - We Ship To The Confirmed Us Paypal Address. No Exceptions We Will Not Ship To A Non US Address.

Can I buy this item? In Paypal, I have my Indian address as my Home address with the cards attached to it and the SnS address as an alternative one. My account has been verified if that makes a difference.

I agree this thread can be made a sticky. Very useful for both first time and regular shopppers

Really depends on the seller. From my experience, if a seller has specifically mentioned he ships only to confirmed, it is not worth spending time on that listing.

VCCs did not work when I used PayPal.

Tried twice - both the times I tried using them only after verification of the cards was completed and status was updated on the PayPal a/c. But did not work :@ Mastercard + HDFC combo.

Ultimately bought the stuff I needed using my "real"cc & the transaction was smooth!

^ Do not complete the verification process when adding VCC.They are one time use cards. So if you let Paypal charge the 1.95$ every time, you can't use it for the actual transaction. So just add the card and use it.
