ALso doesnt make sense if you getting a better product for a couple of grands more...doesnt makes sense in spending 13k on Q9400 just coz u cant afford 2k more :S..rather w8 and collect moolah and buy Q9550 :hap2:

Just to clear up the matter, the 15.5k price from Amarbir for Q9550 is including the VAT. He quoted me 14.8k excluding the VAT.

The Q9400 is a downgraded version of Q9450 and takes up the place of the Q9300. So Q9400 and Q9550 have the same positioning as Q9300 and Q9450. There were indeed sales Q9300 in the past, so the same kind of market will be open for Q9400 now.
