Hi there,
I am having a desktop pc connected with wired connection to the wireless router.

When I connect my laptop or phone to the wireless network I get the message on my desktop "IP address conflict"

how do I solve it?

u must have assigned same IP address to desktop and Laptop/phone, so please change it. :P

no on both computers the setting is to obtain Ip address automatically

ip address is something a phone number, so no two computers can have same IP. now the "ip address conflict" error clearly means two computers on your network are trying to use same IP which is wrong and hence the error.

to fix this, all you need to do is make sure no two computers use the same IP address. so for example, if your desktop as IP address 192.168.1.5

Give your phone IP add as 192.168.1.6 and your laptop as 192.168.1.7

Hope it helps

Or just set the router to act as a DHCP server and set the devices to acquire address information automatically.
