Hey guys putting up my iPhone 3G 8GB for sale.

The phone is in working condition except for the fact that the LCD stopped working yesterday. Now the touchscreen responds perfectly which means that the digitizer is still working, its only the LCD that has failed.

I checked with a couple of repair stores in Mumbai and they said the LCD can be replaced for 2.5-3k which still makes this an excellent deal.

Everything else is in perfect working condition.

One minor crack at the rear of the phone and a few scratches on the back but that's easily hidden with a case.

No scratches on the touch screen since there was a screenguard applied.

Boy was this phone abused or what !!! :ohyeah:

Anyways if you can have this phone repaired,i can bear the extra cost and buy this one immediately.

Thank for the link Nitant, but I don't want to take the phone apart, I'd rather let an experienced service guy do the job. Of course the buyer can decide where he wants to get the phone fixed.

@ ayaskant - It's a cosmetic crack only, doesn't affect the phone in any way whatsoever.
 
Anish..seriously buddy repair the LCD and you will fetch a far better price than the one you have quoted.
That is one good phone...Repairing the LCD will never go waste.
