^^ What he meant was Apple would sell it at the same price worldwide, and then the carriers are free to price it accordingly. it takes Apple around 200 USD to make and market the phone, so its safe to assume it will sell to the carriers for atleast 300USD, carrier would want his pie too....

Its 8K in US, but look at their plans, too. It would be overall cheaper even if it retailed for 20K + 500 pm rental plan.

Hmm a very clever way of making the crack impractical altogether

That makes sense but if it isn't priced sensibly then who wud wanna buy it.

Also taking into account that 3G isnt still popular in India.

Hope the carriers eat a smaller piece of pie :rofl:
