OK if i can quickly gauge the sitaution we COULD have a go .
I need 30+ orders to convert this to a GO.

Iphone 4 , 16gb , Factory unlocked. seal packed. 32gb prices i havent enquired but might be 7-8k more are my guesses.

Price : 50.5k Mumbai , availability : 18 days from the time i confirm to my source.

Will close this IC in 2 days coz it wont make sense holding it longer than that .

P.S. - I'm not a dealer , incase this is converted to a GO , my concerns
1. Taking huge chunks of money n delivering to my source , will be quite a challenge ( Don't wanna attract the IT dept).
2.Shipping to outstation guys , this cost will be borne by you through whatever mode you choose.
3.People confirming the order would need to pay some advance money confirming your order.

Can source upto 200-250 pieces but id doubt wed have so many people ready to order , if you know any dealers willing to pickup in bulk ,that would be cool too.

hey soulfire, if you wanna get it cheaper, den visit alfa irla in andheri, last when i checked they had 3 units of 32gig ones for around 47k......

even if its out of stock by now, den you will surely find it in less than 18days time frame..

i checked at alfa today .. phone has to be ordered he does not have any in stock .. and the price of 16 gb is 71000 lol .
 
so then my deal is still very good , problem is do we have takers , MODS please MOVE to Hot deals and discussions............
 
these things pop for around 60k to 100k. people have paid 100k in bombay and delhi for 16gb ones. stupid pricing but india has new money to blow. im getting one surely just going to wait till all the hype settles down.
 
First you purchase, then anything goes wrong with any of the part start running from pillar to post.

50k for any phone is stupid.
 
Its all a matter of demand and supply. Right now the supply is limited as Apple is still not shipping for the second tier of locations (I guess its 24th July). Once Hongkong starts shipping factory unlocked ones that sell for around 31-32k INR for the 16GB on Apple's HK website (iPhone 3GS was sold at that price when it was launched) prices will automatically come down in Mumbai and will be around 36-37k for the factory unlocked ones and 33-34k for pieces tied to a particular operator.

So I suggest hold a bit, besides Apple is offering to take back the phone at no restocking fee. So there is a possibility that the newer ones might have some insulating coat on the external antenna strips that drop the signal when touched at the left end, where the Wifi and the GSM antennas close in, as Anand Lal Shimpi at Anandtech suggested.
 
i told him to show bill and if she is getting it for that price den i'll buy more than 10 pieces... toh he was like ok i will ask once again....
