Ok before I tell you the process, something has happened, there is no display now...the phone goes into dfu mode when it goes to standby, I can get it to start using redsnow, just booth tethered right now, and there are sounds and itunes and comp recognize the iphone, but there is just no display at all
I cant believe just a simple push of my reset all button would end me up in all this,
Should I just let itunes restore it and see if the display comes back?
And this is what I did:
1. Prepared custom rom from 4.2.1 using snowbreeze
2. tinyumbrella's shsh server running and then using ireb to get in into pwn dfu mode.
3. Shift restore using itunes and it installs, but ends up in dfu mode and no display.
4. Switch to other usb port (important)
4. Got redsnow to process the original 4.2.1 (not the custom) and then checked install cydia from redsnow(important) and I got to the screen and i thought everything is finally its all fine now.
But sadly there is just no display now, I heard apple is doing this on purpose
