^^ To be honest it's still not that big a deal as android fanbois are making it.............Acc. to apple, discoloration goes away after a day or two of use , still affects only a tiny no. of phones and those facing the issue can get their phones replaced easily if they choose to.it's not a design flaw it's only because the iphones were rushed to market after production to meet launch dates.Apple never claimed it was scratch proof...infact all phones have these issues and is expected after rough use.Engadget actually threw their device on the wall to carry out some kinda strength test.I suppose it's still a lot better than other phones.

The only issue is(and it's a big one) is the loss of reception...............But then that completely goes away if you use cases for your phones(third party or the ones provided by apple). To be honest one would be stupid not to use a protective shield for such an expensive phone!!(After all a fall could easily damge a phone, especially when made of glass)My iphone 3G doesn't suffer from similar issues yet it still put it in a case.I am not defending iphone here only stating something that makes sense.

However there are a few things about this whole apple saga that's quite not right..............apple knew about these issues before hand and did nothin to warn it's customers. That's like duping the early adopters. They should have warned everyone that because of the new design , they have to use a case for the phone else it might result in reception issues and dropped calls.then they responded by saying that users are holding it the wrong way!! Now the least apple can do is offer as free case to those who have already bought these phones (like engadget said).I'm amazed(though not surprised!) when something goes wrong with apple products , apple fanbois are always there to defend steve and apple and anti-apple/android fanboi trolls( who are equally if noot more annoying BTW) to poke fun even when their own devices are mired with problems/quality control issues.Of late seen similar behavior from android fanbois as well.Conveniently they forget, even nexus one had similar issues( though not to this extend) They roam around with a bunch of phones that's far from perfect......their much touted iphone killer had issues where the screen simply came apart because the glue holding it was substandard! And then there are those who can't afford an iphone stating how they were about to purchase one but thanks to these revelations have changed their minds........ahh!!! sour grapes!!:P Sprinkled in are comments like HTC evo 4G FTW:P

Atleast i had a good laugh.............

To be honest i still see no reason why i shouldn't purchase one unless ofcourse the yellow spots also turn out to be a design flaw tht will last forever (which i highly doubt!)
